Kick the Dust Up

The Wild Horses travel around the lower salt river within the Tonto National Forest in small bands of 20 or so horses.  As these small bands travel on the same trails, they come together at the river.  In the springtime the Stallions often battle for their Mare and in this photo these two stallions were doing just that.  It was such an amazing sight to see.
